This is one of the most frequent questions asked especially by people with a lot of stress during the day. Some statistics show that there are 60 million American that suffer from Insomnia, and by then fall short to the eight hour and a half sleep recommended by doctors.
Personally , because of the long years of studies and cramming , I never suffered from insomnia
These are some tricks to help you fall asleep very fast according to the National Institute of Health:
1- Take a warm shower before bed, in preference after 10 minutes stretching or yoga.
2-Wear socks.
3-Hide your clocks or phone.
4-Cool your bedroom , try to leave a window open. Splash your face with cold water for 4 minutes
5-Stay away from troubling news , action games , thrilling novels or loud music, try some nature sounds.
6- Use some natural scents in your room like vanilla or lavender.
7-Stay away from lights as much as your can.
8-Imagine your favorite places or funniest moments in your life.
9-Relax and breath deeply and steadily.
